The first real images of the OnePlus 13R have just been revealed by Louis Lee, president of the brand. This new smartphone, which will first be launched in China under the name Ace 5, finally reveals its long-awaited front design.
The photos shared on the Chinese social network Weibo by Louis Lee show a screen with particularly thin borders, reminiscent of those of the high-end OnePlus 13. The manufacturer has opted for a flat screen, following the current trend among Chinese manufacturers who are gradually abandoning curved screens. According to rumors, it would be a BOE X2 LTPO panel of 6.78 incheswhich combines 1.5K definition et 120Hz refresh rate.
The president of OnePlus confirmed the presence of a metal chassis, a premium touch to this model which is positioned just below the flagship. Under the hood, the OnePlus 13R will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processorwith specific optimization which, according to the brand, will allow it to outperform other devices equipped with the same chip. This should therefore be the “Leading Version” overclocked model.
What do we know about the OnePlus 13R?
The technical specifications promise to be top-notch: 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage, and an imposing 6,000 mAh battery compatible with 100 W fast charging. A configuration with three photo sensors will complete the package, although the precise details of the sensors have not yet been revealed.
