The Battery Video Doorbell Plus is the second Ring doorbell to deliver square images. It allows you to see more from above, right up to the packages left on the doorstep. It also broadcasts satisfactory image quality and allows you to communicate with visitors in good conditions, while being easy to install with its battery. If this is not the primary function of a doorbell, motion detection is also very effective here. As is often the case with Ring, we regret above all the obligation to take out a subscription to take full advantage of the doorbell.
NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude the prices of stores whose the VAT policy is not clear (so-called “gray” stores, typically in the case of imports from China).
An alternative
The Aqara Video Doorbell G4 is an interesting little doorbell, especially for HomeKit users since compatible models are rare. Easy to install and delivered with a small chime for more traditional use, it also offers good video quality for remote response, as well as advanced detection functions. Face recognition, however, is not very effective at night and Aqara still has a little work to do on its app.
