While video game adaptations are on the rise, Amazon Prime Video is offering, from December 10, an anthology series composed of short films inspired by popular licenses.
“The Witcher”, “Arcane”, “The Last of Us”, “Fallout”, “Halo”… There are countless adaptations of video games into television series. And Amazon Prime Video does not hesitate to add another layer by adding to its catalog an anthology animated series, “Secret Level”.
Fifteen short films from several licenses will make up the series. The trailer and promotional images revealed glimpses of characters like a Space Marine from “Warhammer 40,000” and Kratos from “God of War.” The series will also adapt stories from the games “Dungeons & Dragons”, “Armored Core”, “Pac-Man”, “Exodus” and many others. Behind this project: the creators of the excellent “Love, Death and Robots” from Netflix and the animation studio Blur, known for numerous cutscenes from “Valorant” and “League of Legends”.
With this series, Amazon Prime Video promises innovative stories, varied animation styles and incredible special effects. Arnold Schwarzenegger (Terminator), Kevin Hart (Jumanji), Keanu Reeves (John Wick), Gabriel Luna (The Last of Us) and Temuera Morrison (The Book of Boba Fett) participated in the original voice casting.
