An application boosted with artificial intelligence

The German manufacturer is launching its new MBUX Notes embedded application, allowing voice note takingand with on-board generative artificial intelligence capabilities, making it possible to improve the digital experience of drivers and passengers. This app was developed in-house by Mercedes, and allows hands-free multilingual voice note taking, whether it’s shopping lists, meeting agendas, organizing ideas for a blog or even a personal project.

This MBUX Notes app is one of the first smart in-car note taking apps using thegenerative artificial intelligence to be offered by an automobile manufacturer, and offers its users a safer and more comfortable way to use their driving time more productively. To use generative artificial intelligence, anonymized voice notes are sent to the platform Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Cloudwhere they are summarized and structured thanks to theGenerative IA GPT-4º from Open AI. End-to-end encryption, between the car and the server, makes this exchange secure.
