The HP Fortis looks to solidify its identity as a line of PCs equipped to survive the school year with features like military-grade build quality, with features like a spill-resistant keyboard and co-molded rubber edges in its latest PCs.
The new series consists of Intel N150 to N250- (G1i) and MediaTek Kompanio 520- (G1m) computers with 128 GB UFS memory and 64 GB eMMC memory respectively.
They also support fast charging“90% in 90 minutes” for batteries“long lasting“, so that students can continue their learning and development without interruption.
Its 11-inch variants feature an HD display, while the flagship 14-inch G1i model is the only one with FHD options. It can also be configured with a touchscreen, while the Flip 11-inch G1i and G1m models come with one by default.
These variants also come with an HP Slim rechargeable pen, while the G1 series offers the following options Bluetooth 5.3wi-Fi up to 6Edual 5Gb/s USB-C and private webcams (although 720p resolution) on the the entire range.
-The lineup consists of Chromebooks with Titan H1 and the option to upgrade to Chrome Enterprise or Education, except for the Flip G1i, an 11-inch laptop that ships with Windows 11 and a TPM 2.0 chip.
The 11-inch Fortis Flip G1m and 11-inch Fortis G1m are expected to be available from HP sometime in December 2024, starting at $249 each, while the 14-inch Fortis G1i laptops, G1i 11-inch, Flip G1i 11-inch and Flip G1i 11-inch could be released by January 2025 at prices which remain to be determined.
