The RG Cube (currently $249.99 on Amazon) is barely out of the starting blocks, having been released in early June. However, Anbernic has confirmed that it is just days away from opening pre-orders for the RG40XX H, two weeks after the device’s official launch. As expected, the RG40XX H comes in three colors, black, blue, and gray.

Anbernic has already confirmed that the device features a 4-inch IPS display with 640 x 480 pixels in a 4:3 aspect ratio. Additionally, the RG40XX H is powered by an Allwinner H700 chipset and 1GB of LPDDR4 RAM, just like the recent RG35XX series models. Additionally, the device features a 3,200mAh battery that Anbernic claims can last up to 6 hours between charges.

Additionally, Anbernic equips the RG40XX H with a USB Type-C port, a single speaker, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as an HDMI port. Likewise, the device features dual microSD card readers, though only one of them is populated with a card by default. The RG40XX H will be available on July 12 at 22:00 UTC for $64.99 with a 64GB microSD card. The device will also be available to order with additional 128GB and 256GB microSD cards for $79.99 and $94.99, respectively.
