A few days before the release of Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle, it is already possible to download it in order to launch it directly when it is released in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. This turns out to be a good thing for small connections who feared not being able to embark on the adventure on the big day. Be careful, however, since this time the operation is not as simple as usual.
How to pre-download Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle
Xbox Series X|S players, you can start downloading Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle now. To install it, simply go through the Xbox Game Pass tab on your Xbox and select the game. This operation only allows you to download the cache file of around 300 MB as well as access to two bonuses. You actually have to force the pre-download manually to be ready on the big day.
How to manually force pre-download of Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle
- Once the cache file of approximately 300 MB is installed, go to the “Manage” tab, then to “Updates”
- You will see a “Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle – Pre-download” tile appear.
- Select it to start the pre-download of 87.2 GB on Xbox Series S or 131.77 GB on Xbox Series X
So you are ready to embark on this completely new Indy adventure. It is still strange that downloading does not happen as naturally as before on Xbox, but requires the use of the new pre-download feature freshly introduced by Microsoft in September. Unfortunately, pre-downloading is not currently possible on PC.
The release of Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle will take place this December 9 on Xbox Series for Premium Edition or Premium Upgrade.
-The title will integrate Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming upon launch.
