A new scam targeting Netflix subscribers has been revealed and concerns no less than 23 countries. Victims receive a fraudulent SMS asking them to update their banking details or risk having their account suspended.
Users of the Netflix streaming platform are urged to exercise caution since a new phishing attempt was detected. This would concern users in 23 countries. In the message sent to victims, it is explained that the customer has not paid for his subscription and that his account will therefore be suspended soon. A link is also sent, so

Protect yourself from scams
There, you are asked to update your banking information. Obviously, this information is collected by the criminals, and not by Netflix. They are then potentially resold on the dark web. The United States, Germany, Spain, Australia, Greece and even Portugal would be affected by this vast scam.
