Realme claims its 12 Pro Plus (or Pro+) will build on its reputation as the most popular camera-centric Android smartphone it has ever sold in India, by being the only device to combine two of Sony’s new LYTIA cameras.

One of them will also be converted into a 3X periscope zoom lens for the first time in the 13 Pro+, which Digital Chat Station says allows for a new lens that’s as compact as a conventional smartphone telephoto lens.

The well-known leaker claims to prove this claim with a hands-on leak that shows the 13 Pro+ 13 Pro-series in a new colorway that reveals the series’ round camera bump for the first time. Whether this is a prototype, a dummy, or a genuine special edition remains to be seen – assuming it’s genuine, of course.

Additionally, Digital Chat Station refers to the camera as the IMX882 rather than a member of the LYTIA range, although it’s possible the sensor has been rebranded for a different market.

Regardless, the very reliable tipster now claims that the same new ultra-slim telephoto lens will also help sharpen the camera bumps in the upcoming GT7 Pro gaming console, not to mention the OnePlus 13 and OPPO Find X8.
