The basket of crabs in the sector of portable consoles which are also gaming PCs is increased by a new competitor: Tencent. The Chinese wants to compete for market share with Asus, Lenovo, MSI and a few others thanks to the Sunday Dragon 3D One. And to stand out from the crowd, the manufacturer is not only counting on a muscular technical sheet promising, among other things, an Intel Lunar Lake processor but rather on a feature that we thought was relegated to our gamer cupboards of the 2010s: a screen capable of simulating 3D, with no accessories required. This is obviously reminiscent of the Nintendo 3DS, released in 2011 and which allowed you to enjoy certain titles in 3D, in a rather impressive way for certain titles like Starfox 64 3D. However, the idea has been improved a little and eye tracking should optimize everything for a better rendering.

The 3D display technology includes an eye tracking system.

The visuals still show a product that is portable in name only, the fault of an 11-inch XXL screen clocked at 120 Hz. For comparison, the very beautiful screen of the Lenovo Legion Go (already difficult to transport ) reaches a size of 8.8 inches and that of the classic Nintendo Switch “only” 7 inches. Speaking of Nintendo Switch, the Sunday Dragon 3D One seems to have taken the good idea of Joy-Cons since the controller is detachable. So you can play by placing the console upright using a stand, but above all, you can easily replace a defective element; yes, we are thinking of analog joysticks which we do not know if they will be equipped with Hall technology or not.

Yes, it’s big…

We were talking to you about the Lunar Lake processor. According to the insidersthis one would be a Core Ultra 7 358SV. And since the best processor in the world is of little use for gaming without a graphics card, Tencent chose an Intel Arc 140V to which 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory is added. Finally, on the data storage side, rumors speak of a 1TB SSD.

For the moment, no marketing date has been communicated. As for the price, even without an official announcement, it’s a safe bet that it will reach new heights.
