In posts on social media and on outage tracking platforms like Downdetector, some affected people reported having difficulty seeing emails, loading calendars, or opening other Microsoft 365 apps, such as PowerPoint.
Microsoft acknowledged “an issue affecting users trying to access Exchange Online or Microsoft Teams Calendar features” earlier today. In updates posted to to correct.
Microsoft said it was rolling out a patch — which, as of shortly before noon Eastern Time, had reached about 98 percent of “affected environments.”
However, the company’s status page later added that the targeted reboots were “progressing more slowly than expected for the majority of affected users.”
As of midday Monday, Downdetector was showing thousands of reports of outages from Microsoft 365 users, particularly Outlook.
