Performance, battery life of the Acer Aspire Spin 14 ASP14-51MTN-567Z
The Acer Aspire Spin 14 ASP14-51MTN-567Z is a compact laptop PC convertible into a tablet designed for everyday nomadic use.
Easy to transport because it is compact, thin and light, it will interest some people wishing to have a student laptop PC since it is able to last around 10 hours on battery in light use.
To do this, it relies on energy-efficient components such as its 16 GB of RAM which are low consumption like the processor. It is a Core 5 120U Intel Raptor Lake Refresh Core 7 150U with 10 hybrid cores which accommodates the Iris Xe graphics module.
Storage also consumes little energy since it is entrusted to an SSD which also offers other advantages: robust design, silent operation or even high speed.
The latter provides great responsiveness/fluidity which is manifested on a daily basis by rapid starts/stops, processing and launches of applications, or even the fact that we quickly reach the online game maps.
Be careful though. No dedicated graphics card is on board here. Consequently, its performance in games is limited to light titles. Thanks to the Iris Xe, you can obviously also watch photos and videos.
Furthermore, this 2-in-1 Ultrabook performs well in everyday use, such as surfing the Internet and office use.
It is also suitable for performing light multimedia processing using RAM and multi-core, such as small photo edits or video conversions.
And in terms of capacity? The SSD offers 512 GB, which is consistent with what is found in many models on the market.
If you need more space, you can however use an external storage device, preferably USB 3.0/USB-C/Thunderbolt to benefit from fast transfers.
