Half-Life-themed GeForce RTX 4080 Super to be won via Nvidia’s latest competition

Nvidia offers a new custom graphics card. This time, it commemorates the 20th anniversary of Half-Life 2 (November 16). The lucky winner will receive a graphics card Half-Life themedHalf-Life-themed GeForce RTX 4080 Super, with Gordon Freeman, a Lambda and an orange fan. Nvidia hasn’t said whether any abnormal materials were used in the manufacturing of this card, so plugging it into your PC may result in unforeseen consequences.

To enter, simply like and comment “#HalfLife2RTX” on Nvidia’s X post. Oddly, Nvidia hasn’t released terms and conditions for this competition, so there’s no way to confirm eligible regions and such. Unless otherwise stated, it can be assumed that the competition is global and open to legal adults worldwide.

Ironically, you can play virtually any game Half-Life never made(Black Mesa/Hunt Down The Freeman do not count) on all iGPUs released over the past year. While the fan-made Half-Life 2 RTX finally has a dedicated Steam page https://store.steampowered.com/app/2477290/HalfLife_2_RTX/ there is still some time before launch. The worst part is that this GeForce RTX 4080 Super will probably be obsolete by the time Half-Life 3 will come out, but such is life.
