The next GTA 6 trailer is coming soon, and it's the Moon that says so

By the end of reading this article, either you will take me for an enlightened madman who should go touch some grass, or you will join me in my improbable conspiratorial delirium. But according to a theory that is starting to make the rounds on the internet, it could well be that the next trailer for GTA 6 will be released, or at least announced, on November 22. Why this date? Where does this certainty come from? To understand this, you have to look very carefully at an image published by Rockstar themselves on Twitter to promote the latest GTA Online event:

Forget Rockstar's text, even forget the content and context of the GTA Online event, what interests us here is none of that. In addition to the character leaning on his car in front of the Darnell Bros. Garment Factory, this image could well hide the announcement or broadcast date of the next GTA 6 trailer in the form of a star well known to all: the Moon. Indeed, in this illustration, the Moon is in a so-called phase waning gibbouswhich occurs just after the full moon and before the last quarter. However, in real life, the next phase of the waning gibbous moon should arrive exactly on Friday, November 22. But of course the theory doesn't stop there.

Why would a waning gibbous Moon have anything to do with the release of the next GTA 6 trailer? Great question that actually has a much bigger answer than you might think. Indeed, believe it or not, but this is not the first time that Rockstar has shown the Moon in this precise phase in a GTA Online promotional image. And the last time they did it was September 29, 2023 for the announcement of the lunar festival. However on this date, the next waning gibbous moon of real life brought us to… December 1, 2023, the day when Rockstar announced the release date of the one and only trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6.

If we follow this reasoning (which is entirely valid, admit it), then Rockstar should at least announce the next trailer for GTA 6 on November 22, when the Moon enters its waning gibbous phase. A completely crazy theory that has still won over a lot of people on the Internet, especially when we know how much Rockstar likes to use Easter Eggs in their games. This is what happens when you leave millions of fans without news for almost a year. Needless to say, this has absolutely no solid basis and should not be taken seriously. But mark the date in the calendar just in case… you never know.
