The weeks go by, and they bring more and more information about Apple's next smartphones. After a bit of iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 17 Air, it is now time to talk again about the iPhone SE 4, the next accessible phone marketed by the Apple firm at the start of 2025.
The new information about him comes to us from an Ajunews article shared this Monday, November 11. We can read that mass production by LG Innotech of the components of the photo part of the iPhone SE 4 will enter production very soon.
It is also specified that the ramp-up of production is planned for December 2024. The South Korean media reports: “LG Innotek generally supplies camera modules three months before the launch of a new smartphone. Under these conditions, the iPhone SE 4 should be released in March next year.
The iPhone SE 4 would therefore appear in March 2025, just in time for the start of spring. This recent disclosure thus confirms previous leaks, which respected Apple's usual communication pattern for this product category. Indeed, the first iPhone SE was unveiled in March 2016, followed by the iPhone SE 2 in April 2020 and the iPhone SE 3 in March 2022.
For your information, multiple new features are planned for this generation. For people who haven't really followed the rumors about the iPhone SE 4, here are the big improvements that this new affordable Apple smartphone would introduce:
- A design in the vein of the iPhone 14
- A 6.1-inch Oled screen
- A notch housing the selfie camera and Face ID technology
- The A18 chip in the iPhone 16/16 Plus, size for Apple Intelligence functions
- Apple's first 5G modem
- La charge sans fil MagSafe
- The 48 Mpx main sensor of the iPhone 15
The iPhone SE 4 would therefore be a very good alternative to the iPhone 16, with a few fewer subtleties here and there.
