Google Weather comes to life: weather vibrations and sounds are coming
More or less in parallel with the launch of the Pixel 9, Google launched the new weather application dedicated to its devices. Let’s talk about the new Pixel weather app, which also subsequently came to the previous series Pixels. In recent hours, Google has released a new update for the Pixel Weather application, with a change that mainly concerns the application’s graphical interface. Let’s talk about the possibility of activating meteoropathic vibrations and sounds. On the practical side, the new functionality that has just arrived for the Pixel Weather application will allow us to receive vibrations and sounds synchronized with the weather conditions. For example, the app will emit specific vibrations and sounds for drizzle, heavy rain, snow, scattered showers, thunderstorms and much more.

This should provide a more immersive experience for those who use the Weather app on their Pixels, especially those who use it as their default weather app on their Pixel. The new feature will be accessible through the context menu of the Pixel Weather app, the one opened by selecting your profile icon at the top right. Those who received it will see a new section called Immersive Weather Vibrations in this menu. The new feature we just saw should already be automatically distributed worldwide, to everyone who has a Pixel updated with the new Weather app. It will probably take a few days for everyone to be informed.
