Nvidia is starting to make room to mass produce the GeForce RTX 50 series, which is scheduled to be announced at CES in January 2025. Thus, according to Videocardz, Nvidia has stopped producing the AD103, AD104 and AD106 GPUs ( RTX 4080 Super to RTX 4060 Ti). For their part, the AD107s have a little respite (RTX 4060 and RTX 4050 mobile).
Officially, Nvidia does not communicate on the cessation of production of its GPUs or their use in this or that model of graphics cards. However, the cessation of production does not mean that the aforementioned models disappear from shelves overnight. Nvidia anticipates the arrival of the GeForce RTX 50 series and has sufficient stock of GPUs to last until January 2025.

The entry-level GeForce RTX 4060
It is a safe bet that Nvidia will keep the GeForce RTX 4060 at entry level, as it has done so far with the GeForce RTX 3060 for the GeForce RTX 40 series, in the absence of a desktop GeForce RTX 4050 .
Nvidia is therefore freeing up its production lines to immediately produce the GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, the launch of which is scheduled for mid-January, while specialist journalists return from CES to begin testing. It is then the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4070 which should follow in February, finally, the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 will close the ball with the launch of the GeForce RTX 50 series in March.
