A New Breath for Atelier Cuvelier

Atelier Cuvelier is an artisanal company specializing in leather goods and leather working, located in Rixensart in Belgium. At the start of 2024, it was taken over by a young couple, Stéphanie and Thomas, ready to restore the nobility of this regional institution. They maintain artisanal expertise by collaborating with Brigitte, a talented leatherworker for 20 years in the workshop.

Stéphanie, with her experience in marketing, now manages operations while learning all the subtleties of the work of a leather craftsman alongside Brigitte. Thomas, for his part, brings his commercial expertise to develop customers and partnerships.

Personalization is at the heart of Atelier Cuvelier’s offering. Each product is
adaptable and customizable according to customer needs and desires, thus offering unique and tailor-made items. With more than 75 types of leather availablecustomers can choose from a wide range of materials to complete their projects.

We can also personalize the product with initials or a logo. We
let’s still practice embossing technique. Embossing is a technique used to create raised designs on a surface. This method allows three-dimensional designs to be produced that can be felt and seen, adding additional texture and dimension to the pieces produced.

Selection of Leathers

(Alsace): We collaborate with a renowned Alsatian tannery, which perpetuates ancestral know-how in leather tanning. Alsatian leather, particularly Supportlo calfskin, is known for its luxurious texture and durability. This very oily leather sometimes has a whitish appearance, distinctive of its natural quality and its artisanal treatment.

Belgium : For various other leathers, we work with a Belgian wholesaler, guaranteeing diversity and quality that meets the specific needs of our customers.

Italy : Our leathers also come from a renowned Italian tannery, located in Tuscany. This supplier, active since 1972, stands out for its expertise and the variety of its leathers, offering a wide choice of grains and colors.

Buckles and Hardware

Belgium and England : All our buckles and metal parts come either from a Belgian wholesaler or from a highly reputable English supplier. The latter is notably supplier to the English courtsymbol of elegance
and prestige.

Commitment to Camec and support for young talents

Atelier Cuvelier is firmly committed to an approach of social responsibility and support for young talents. In collaboration with Camec, a school specializing in professional reintegrationwe offer concrete training and employment opportunities. Currently, we are welcoming an intern from this institution, with hiring prospects actual apprenticeship contract (CAP). This initiative reflects our desire to actively participate in theintegration of young people in the world of work, while transmitting to them the values ​​and know-how of artisanal leather goods. Development of E-Commerce in 2025

At Atelier Cuvelier, we are driven by the desire to modernize and expand our clientele while preserving our artisanal heritage.
