The Honor Watch 5 is now available in select European countries, including the United Kingdom, Spain, and Germany. The smartwatch was unveiled at IFA 2024 in September; price and release date were not communicated at the time.
The Watch 5 has a larger 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 460 x 390 px and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Its rectangular shape, with the crown placed at the top right, is reminiscent of the Watch Series 10 from Apple (currently $369 on Amazon). Compared to its predecessor, the latest watch is said to offer more accurate GPS location tracking. You can monitor biometric parameters such as heart rate and blood oxygen level, with a one-click health scan to quickly generate a report. There’s also sleep health tracking and a daily morning report with a snapshot of the previous day.
Also new: Scenario Service Cards, which offer shortcuts to functions such as fitness tracking or weather forecasts. Additionally, the battery life of the wearable watch is estimated at 15 days. According to Honor, the watch is waterproof to 5ATM and is dust and water resistant to IP68. You can now buy the Honor Watch 5 64MB+4GB with a black or gold silicone strap for £129.99/€149.00. A version with a green leather strap is more expensive at £149.99/€169.00. It is not yet known when the product will be marketed in other European countries.
