While we wonder who Kamala Harris and Donald Trump will win the presidential election, some live… on another planet.

Sometimes the surprises aren’t where you think they are. In the middle of election night, while the 50 states were releasing their results one after the other, Google Trends detected suspicious activity, but still linked to the American presidential election. In truth, this strange shock would have started to be felt around October 20, when the two candidates were wrapping up their last weeks of campaigning.
An enlightenment? Or a simple desire to (finally) come out of your cave? Regardless, a strange question has gently made its way through Google’s algorithms, according to the Daily Beast. And, the least we can say is that it does not go unnoticed:
“Has Joe Biden given up?”
You read that right. America is holding its breath, but a cluster of people have no idea what’s going on outside. Was the president not clear enough last July when he published his resignation letter? Has Kamala Harris not shown enough of her face? Or is a region of the United States simply deprived of electricity without anyone knowing it? Mystery. What is certain is that the following curve exists.
We can therefore assume that these Americans, who have just discovered the moon (and Kamala Harris), did not vote. In any case, “Did Joe Biden drop out” made Internet users laugh, imagining these oddballs in the polling station: “Excuse me, why is Joe Biden not on this ballot? There must be a mistake?”
“They are surely the happiest and most balanced people in the country. I’m jealous”
