On Wednesday, November 6 at 7 p.m., the Thetford Public Library Network presents the conference by André Prus entitled “Mars: this red planet which still fascinates us and which once resembled our Earth! “.

Come take a trip to Mars through the “eyes” of these little robots who have returned us photos and videos, as well as breathtaking soundtracks, and who provide us with tangible proof that Mars was, very for a long time, a blue planet like ours. Does this mean that our Earth will suffer the same fate as Mars in the very distant future? And what about past life on Mars if it was covered in water? Could we ever soon land on Mars with a crew of astronauts like we already did on our Moon? Here are several questions that the speaker will attempt to answer with a spirit of scientific observation.

Users of the Thetford Public Library Network can obtain tickets by going to the Cégep library circulation desk. Please note that a limit of two tickets per member has been set.
