Enough to allow system updates to download and install in the background. Once the process is completed, all you would need to do is restart the device to apply the update, making the experience much smoother.
So far, Samsung used a more traditional, and less convenient, update method for most of its devices, including its flagship models. This system requires a complete restart which interrupts use of the phone while the installation is completed. Enough to annoy some users, particularly those who depend on their device to work.
Samsung would only catch up
Non-stop updates are nothing new in the Android world. Google has adopted them for several years, notably on its Pixel models, and other manufacturers have also followed this path to offer a better user experience. However, Samsung’s flagship models have so far escaped this practice, despite the technology being used in some A-series models, such as the Galaxy A55 5G released this year.
