Xiaomi has just unveiled its new spearheads, the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro. These are the first devices to feature the all-new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and they arrive just a week after Qualcomm's chip.

Xiaomi has finally made its new high-end smartphones official, the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro. These will arrive in Europe in the first quarter of next year, and are exclusive to China for now. What technical sheet for the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro?

The Xiaomi 15 Pro stands out for its 6.73-inch curved OLED screen, displaying 2K definition (3200 x 1440 pixels). This panel uses TCL CSOT's new M9 technology, achieving an impressive maximum brightness of 3200 nits (on 25% of its surface) while reducing energy consumption by 24%. The adaptive refresh rate varies between 1 and 120 Hz thanks to LTPO technology.

On the photo side, the 15 Pro proudly sports a triple sensor system developed in partnership with Leica. The 50 MP main camera uses the Sony LYT-900 sensor with an f/1.44 aperture, accompanied by a 50 MP periscopic telephoto lens (120mm equivalent) and a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens offering a 115-degree field of view.

To power everything, Xiaomi has integrated a impressive 6100 mAh battery in the Prowhile the standard model has a 5400 mAh battery. These are significant increases compared to the previous generation. Both models support charge rapide 90 W wired and 50 W wireless. The cooling system has also been improved, with a 14% increase in heat dissipation area on the Pro.

The “standard” Xiaomi 15 is not left out with its 6.36-inch OLED flat screen with ultra-thin 1.38 mm borders. It becomes the smartphone with the thinnest edges on the market. It shares the same processor as its big brother and also offers a Leica-certified triple 50 MP photo module, although the sensor specifications differ slightly.

Both models are offered with 12 or 16 Go of LPDDR5X RAMassociated with a UFS 4.0 storage up to 1TB. They run under HyperOS 2.0, Xiaomi's new interface based on Android, and benefit from certification IP68 against water and dust.

What prices for the Xiaomi 15?

In terms of pricing, the Xiaomi 15 Pro starts at 5299 yuan (around 685 euros) for the 12/256 GB versionwhile the Xiaomi 15 is offered from 4499 yuan (around 582 euros). Both models will be available in several colors, including a special “Liquid Silver” edition featuring a unique wavy effect under light.

Launch is scheduled for October 31 in China, with international availability to be announced later.
