OnePlus will officially unveil its first-ever Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphone on October 31, and the company has already confirmed quite a few details about the upcoming flagship phone, including the display and camera setup. Today, the battery details of the OnePlus 13 were officially revealed.

This will be the company’s first phone to pack a battery with a capacity greater than 5,500 mAh. Previously, the OnePlus 12R held the record for the largest battery in the brand’s smartphone lineup, but the upcoming flagship phone will surpass it with a 6,000mAh battery.

This is why the OnePlus 13 could pack a larger battery than its predecessor without being thicker. For reference, the upcoming flagship phone measures 8.5mm thick, while the last generation device measures 9.15mm.

Additionally, OnePlus has confirmed that its upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite phone will support 100W fast charging (Baseus Blade 100W Power Bank, currently $99.99 at Amazon). It is said to take the battery from 0 to 100% in 36 minutes. It also supports 50W magnetic wireless charging.

As for battery life, the OnePlus 13 is claimed to offer up to 11 hours of video playback after a full charge. The company also claims that the phone can deliver 56 minutes of texting and 13 hours of standby time when the battery is at 1%. Although the company hasn’t explicitly mentioned it, these figures at 1% charge are likely taken when the phone is in battery saving mode.
