We would like to say that Sony gives us some useful information about the PlayStation like every month, but this time the situation is very different. Like every year, the approach of summer brings joy to the firm, and this is how it offers us its Days of Play. The event lasts until June 12 and includes several big surprises, including promotions on consoles and accessories. First, the manufacturer reveals the 3 games that will be offered as part of all PlayStation Plus subscriptions from June 4.

A stick and a sponge

The first game is Streets of Rage 4, a classic of the beat em up genre that combines modernity and pixel art. The franchise has been loved by gamers for over 25 years, so now is the time to give it a try if you’ve never tried it.

Then, adventure and platform fans can turn to SpongeBob: The Cosmic Shake. This opus propels Bob and his friends into a world that is part of the fashion of the multiverse. The big new thing is that the hero can unlock absolutely crazy skins and costumes.

Finally, players will be able to recover the title AEW Fight Forever, a wrestling game with playable characters well known to the general public. In addition to this vintage, Sony is offering subscribers access to EA Sports FC 24 for longer than expected. Instead of leaving the catalog this June 4, the title will remain until June 18 so that you can add it to your library.

Extra and Premium Games

Usually we have to wait a little longer before having this information, but it seems that we already have a first glimpse of the games arriving in the catalog in June for Extra and Premium subscribers. PS4 and PS5 games, but also a few retro opuses as you wish, with the exceptional addition of 3 PS2 titles for the first time. Added to this are virtual reality games for the PSVR 2, which should please technology enthusiasts. Of course, in the lot we find unmissable bangers, such as GTA San Andreas to name but one.

  • Cricket 24 | PS4, PS5 (available June 5)
