MARCEL: ALICE LABAU AND JULIEN SCHMITT APPOINTED LEAD ART DIRECTORS

Marcel strengthens his artistic direction with the appointment of Alice Labau And Julien Schmitt to the position of Art Direction Lead. Both will have the mission to “continue to raise the overall level of artistic direction of the agency, to train, nourish and animate the community formed by the forty artistic directors of the agency”. This appointment is part of the desire of Gaëtan du Peloux and Youri Guerassimov, creative directors and co-presidents, to strengthen each area of expertise of the creative division. Alice Labau and Julien Schmitt will work in close collaboration with Stephane Audouin, Head of Design, as well as with the agency’s creative directors, under the supervision of Gaëtan du Peloux and Youri Guerassimov who explain:

Marcel is an incredible pool of talent, and an agency with a unique culture. We are therefore very careful to ensure that the agency’s talents can develop and pass on their knowledge to younger people, so that this culture spreads and ends up surviving us! Last year, we appointed Virgile Lassalle to embody the “design-editing” expertise; this year it is the turn of Alice Labau and Julien Schmitt to embody the “artistic direction” expertise of the agency. They are both immensely talented and complementary. They will be a beacon for all the agency’s artistic directors and a definite added value for our clients. And for the record, Virgile created “Marcel Proust” the agency’s community of editors. Well ! Alice and Julien have just created “Marcel Duchamp” for the DA. »
