The Era 100 speaker replaces the iconic Sonos One in the Californian manufacturer’s catalog. It is a monobloc connected model which differs from its predecessor by a completely revised design and acoustic architecture.

The Era 100 is a worthy heir to the Sonos One. It offers rich and warm sound reproduction, has numerous features and benefits from one of the best multiroom systems available, all in a compact design. We also appreciate the addition of Bluetooth connectivity. Despite the new version of TruePlay, the Era 100 only truly sings in tune once the advanced calibration has been carried out, which is unfortunately only possible with an iOS device.

  • Treble reproduction which lacks detail and naturalness.
  • Lack of Google Assistant and Chromecast protocol.
  • Closed multiroom universe.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude the prices of stores whose the VAT policy is not clear (so-called “gray” stores, typically in the case of imports from China).

Alternatively

Even if everything is not perfect, the Acton II Voice scores essential points. This model will satisfy people looking for a high-performance and classy Google Assistant (GA) sedentary speaker. Although it is one of the few GA speakers to offer a mini-jack input, it remains somewhat limited compared to some competitors without a voice assistant, such as the Addon C5. It’s up to you to make your choice according to your priorities.
