Lamborghini will release a vinyl record… of its V12 engines

• A vinyl record containing the sounds of Lamborghini V12 engines? Why not !

From time to time, there is news that surprises us in the automotive world. Include the following one in this list, as we learn that Lamborghini is going to offer a vinyl record bringing together the sound of the V12 engines of six legendary models that it has offered throughout its history.

It was thanks to a collaboration between the audio giant Technics, as well as Lamborghini, that this was made possible. In fact, the manufacturer will offer the SL-1200M7B record player, manufactured by Technics, carrying a signature and style that is all Lamborghini. The background of the table can adopt three colors, namely red, yellow or green. The tray where the disc is placed is decorated with the company logo. The Lamborghini brand is clearly visible under the controls, on the right, near the Technics logo.

The piece de resistance of what will be offered, however, remains the vinyl which will bring together the sound of V12 engines having served six models in the history of the brand. You will find that of the 400GT, the legendary Miura, as well as the 12-cylinder 5.2 liter and 455 horsepower of the Countach 25th anniversary. That of the Revuelto will also be there, as will those of the Murcielago and the Diablo, a block which was 6.0 liters in the latter case.

It remains to be seen what the set will cost, which will be offered on a limited basis. The Technics record player starts at $1,100. We can therefore imagine a few hundred dollars more for the singular content and unique style of the model.

It is often said that the sound of an engine is truly music to the ears of enthusiasts. This expression takes on its full meaning here, literally.

It will be possible to order this collector’s item from May 9. It will only be offered until the end of June, which leaves some flexibility on the number that will be produced. We give people enough time to decide, and we will produce what is ordered. At least that’s the impression we have.
