Retro video game fans, rejoice! October promises to be a month full of news for you at the publisher Bitmap Books. First of all, the book “A Tale of Two Halves: The History Of Football Video Games” will be available from October 17. This book delves into the history of soccer video games, from the 1970s to today, with over 400 game examples, screenshots, artwork, analysis, interviews and much more.
But that’s not all since the publisher announces a new book, “The Games of a Lifetime”, written by video games journalist Julian “Jaz” Rignall. This book tells the story of his life in the video games industry, from the 1970s to the present, with anecdotes, archive photos, screenshots and illustrations. The book will be available in February 2025.
