TikTok introduces new tool to identify AI-generated content
In an effort to increase transparency on its platform, TikTok announces the upcoming introduction of automatic labeling for all content created by artificial intelligence. This measure aims to strengthen existing policies that require creators to manually report the use of AI in their videos.

As sensitive electoral deadlines approach, TikTok is stepping up its protection measures against false information. Faced with the growing omnipresence of artificial intelligence on social networks, this new functionality is welcomed to counter content diversion and clones.

This initiative also addresses growing concerns about the abuse of AI, particularly the spread of false information, especially during election periods. TikTok is committed to combating potentially harmful or misleading AI content, by allowing its users to clearly identify the type of content they are viewing.

The deployment of this feature is underway on the smartphone and computer versions of TikTok. As soon as AI-generated content is detected, it will be automatically labeled as such by the application, providing increased transparency to users.
