Press point: Focus on the Agroecology Summit – 2nd edition (14/11 at the French Cinema)

Bordeaux agroecology summit 2024

The 2nd Agroecology Summit, supported by the Agroecological Association of Carbouey, will take place on November 14 at the Le Français cinema, with the support of its partners which are the City of Bordeaux, the Biotope Festival association and the BioGée Federation. This Summit is aimed as much at farmers, winegrowers, scientists, students, teachers as at the general public who feels concerned by agroecology issues. Press briefing on the highlights of the upcoming event.

The organizing team invites you to the presentation of the program and ambition of the Summit during a press point at the Bordeaux Press Club and by videoconference on October 15 at 11 a.m.

The speakers:
  • Xavier Planty president of the Agroecological association of Carbouey and founding member of the association, former winegrower
  • Marina Galman, Director of the Carbouey Agroecological Association
  • Marie-Pierre Lacoste-Duchesne, treasurer of the association, oenologist and winemaker Château La Clotte-Cazalis and agroecology consultant.

Agroecology is understood primarily as the agronomic approach to soils to put crops, including vines, in their ecological context. It does not exclude any of the processes enabling this goal to be achieved (agroforestry, permaculture, etc.) and is conceived as a global approach serving the common good.
The 2024 edition will focus on the issue of flows.
