The 23rd Animated Cinema Festival in : A Celebration of Creativity

From October 11 to 31, will live to the rhythm of the 23rd Animated Cinema Festival, orchestrated by the French Animated Cinema Association (AFCA). This event aims to highlight the richness and diversity of animated cinema. In Occitanie, ESMA, École Supérieure des Métiers Artistiques, joins the party with a special program at the creative campus.

Screening of “Ninja Turtle: Teenage Years” and ESMA Short Films

On Tuesday October 16 at 6:30 p.m., ESMA invites the public to an exceptional evening dedicated to animation. The screening of the film Ninja Turtle : Teenage Years will be preceded by the broadcast of three short films made by the school’s students. These works, imbued with creativity and emotion, illustrate the know-how of the young talents trained at ESMA.

The movie Ninja Turtle : Teenage Years tells the story of the famous Ninja Turtles seeking acceptance in New York while facing an army of mutants threatening the city. With a worldwide success of $94.2 million, this work promises to be a must-see for animation fans.

A Dive into the Creative Process

The evening will begin with a conference on the main stages of creating an animated film. Participants will discover the secrets of the technical and artistic processes that bring 3D animated films to life. This immersion will be followed by an exclusive exhibition revealing the key stages of making an animated film at ESMA.
