If you don’t know yet, the Google I/O conference will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. One week before the event, Google has made the decision to unveil its new smartphone, the Pixel 8a. And on the occasion of the launch of the phone, it is already offered at a reduced price at Boulanger.
Until June 3, 2024, the Google Pixel 8a available in several colors to choose from and in its 128 GB version is at cost price of 399 euros instead of 549 euros at Boulanger. The 150 euros reduction is obtained through a trade-in bonus to be used on an old device.
The Google Pixel 8a and its strong points
Successor to the Pixel 7a and considered the little brother of the Pixel 8, the Pixel 8a is a mid-range smartphone equipped with a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a Full HD+ definition of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a rate of refresh rate up to 120 Hz. Compatible with 5G, the phone also has 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB internal storage space and the Google Tensor G3 processor. The whole thing is powered by a 4492 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging and runs on the Android 14 mobile operating system.
For the smartphone’s camera, a dual main sensor of 64 + 13 MP and a front sensor of 13 MP are included. As for connectivity, it consists of Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.3 wireless technology, USB Type-C, Google Cast and GPS. Finally, the Google Pixel 8a comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable, a Quick Switch adapter, and a SIM card tool.
