Do you use a traditional search engine when looking for information online or has your first instinct become a social network, a video platform or an AI-powered chatbot? This is the question of our weekly survey.

On the web, to (re)find information, the reflex has long been to simply type a query into a search engine. A practice so common that the verb “google» is used by a number of people.

But the web is evolving. Social networks, video content and now artificial intelligence are making their way into our online habits with services like ChatGPT or Gemini. Search enginesclassics» are no longer necessarily obvious to some people. Some of you may have already seen someone you know go directly to YouTube, TikTok, Reddit or Twitter/X to look for information.

So, even if we think that the majority of you still use Google search engines to find out about a subject, we wanted to take stock of the situation on our modest scale.
