The Garmin Connect application for Garmin connected watches is getting a new look with a new update. The problem is that this display greatly displeases the community which made it known to the manufacturer. Faced with criticism, the company released a rather timid press release.

Garmin Connect 5.0 does not please users

several months of beta, the new interface of the Garmin Connect application is finally here. But since its deployment, complaints have multiplied online, mainly on subreddits dedicated to Garmin and on X. According to critics, the interface is less ergonomic and less intuitive. For example, you now have to scroll the screen to see information that appeared all at once with the previous display.

While discontent is mounting among some Garmin device users over an update that they consider to be a failure, the manufacturer has spoken out in a very timid press release. Without going into details, the company states that it is “delighted with the passion of our customers” while having “seen the comments on the new version” of the application.
