Lesquin, September 23, 2024 – After more than a decade of waiting by fans, the new game of the successful license, Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown was released on September 12th on all platforms. It already has nearly 100,000 active players every day around the world.
Despite initial technical difficulties, particularly related to server management in the face of the massive influx of players, the community quickly rallied around the game, demonstrating a strong commitment. This success is also reflected in physical sales, which place the game in the Top 5 bestsellers in the countries where it is distributed.
Since launch, the Kylotonn studio teams have been making continuous efforts to improve and stabilize the network infrastructure. A major patch will be deployed at the end of September and will resolve the last technical issues and optimize the gaming experience based on the valuable community feedback collected since launch.
The ambition for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown remains clear: to reaffirm its position as a benchmark for racing MMOs, by offering a unique experience to car enthusiasts. In addition to the technical optimizations currently underway, NACON and Kylotonn have already announced a program rich in updates for the first year, including the highly anticipated return of Ibiza in December, thus offering players a new playground only three months after its release.
New game modes will also be introduced throughout the year, including a casino planned for June 2025, allowing players to challenge each other in poker, among other things.
