Life360 has introduced an all-new line of Tile Bluetooth trackers. Aimed at improving the everyday lives of families, Life360’s new Tile trackers are designed to help families effortlessly track their valuables and keep their loved ones safe with enhanced location sharing capabilities. Each tracker features a multi-function button that extends the Life360 app’s SOS services, providing an additional layer of security at the user’s fingertips.
In addition to better integration with the Life360 app, the new Tile lineup features enhancements like increased range, a louder ringer and a refined design, providing customers with unmatched convenience and peace of mind. Tile’s full integration with the Life360 app and network is another category-changing step toward Life360’s vision of keeping members safe and close to the people, pets and things they care about. The new multi-function button on Tile extends Life360’s SOS functionality to Tile devices.
In the event of an emergency, triple-tapping the Tile button triggers a Life360 SOS alert, which sends a notification and the user’s location information to their Life360 circle and designated emergency contacts, letting them know something is wrong. SOS alerts are free to all Life360 users. Additionally, the Life360 app can be used to locate and ring shared Tiled items or ring a connected mobile phone, allowing families to help each other find important items quickly. Compatible with iOS and Android, the Tile and Life360 apps ensure these essential features are available to all the important people in life, no matter what phone they use.
The models are: Tile Mate ($24.99): Tile’s everything tracker with a built-in keychain. The Mate is great for tracking everything from keys to backpacks to lunch boxes to purses. Tile Pro ($34.99): The most powerful tracker with a built-in keychain, the Pro has a louder ring and the longest range.
Keep tabs on your most valuable items, like your golf bag, camera, or car. Tile Slim ($29.99): Tile’s thinnest tracker yet, the Slim fits easily into wallets, passport holders, luggage, and more. Tile Sticker ($24.99): The smallest Bluetooth tracker on the market, the Sticker easily adheres to lost and valuable items, from your TV remote to a brand new bike.
Tile Mate, Slim, and Pro models all have extended Bluetooth range to become best-in-class (the Tile Pro now has a range of 500 feet), while Tile Mate, Sticker, and Pro models now feature an even louder ringtone for a better experience when locating people nearby. These new features complement existing Tile benefits like Anti-Theft Mode, a unique feature designed to protect high-value items from theft. Unlike its competitors, Tile will not alert thieves of its presence through notifications, so users have a better chance of recovering their valuables.
Life360 offers several membership levels—free, silver, gold and platinum—designed to meet the diverse needs of families. Optional Gold and Platinum memberships, available in the U.S., U.K., Australia and Canada, offer additional benefits, including the ability to contact emergency services through the tile’s SOS feature. This means members don’t have to call for help themselves; the dispatcher will assess the situation and contact the appropriate authorities.
The new Tile Mate, Slim, and Sticker will be available September 16 on Tile.com and at major retailers worldwide. The Tile Pro will be available in early October.
