In 2024, Xbox had managed to punctuate well all year round with many presentations. Indeed, between the Xbox Developer_Direct, the ID@Xbox Showcase, the New Year, New Age, the Xbox Games Showcase or the Xbox Partner Preview, Microsoft does not lack formats to present its games and those of its partners. Precisely, the brand is preparing to honor the independent games via a new ID@Xbox Showcase.

Xbox continues 2025 with the holding of an ID@xbox showcase

IGN confirmed again to collaborate with Xbox for the broadcast of a new ID@Xbox Showcase, which will take place this February 24.

The presence of 15 studios and publishers has already been confirmed. With 11 bit studios, we can finally know how to know the release date of Frostpunk 2 on consoles, and why not that of The Alters, two games planned in the Game Pass. Also, it may well be that 33 immortals finally has an release date, since Thunder Lotus will be present. This is another game that will be launched in the Game Pass.

We can therefore expect a format similar to what Xbox and IGN had already done together in July 2023, or in April 2024. During the last edition, which had about 1:15, 21 independent games had been shown , some of which have since integrated the Xbox Game Pass, and others who are still waiting to make their debut in the service.
