Apple unveils its new Apple Invitations Service

Apple has officially unveiled Apple Invitations, a brand new application dedicated to the creation, sending and management of invitations. Anyone can be invited and respond to invitations, but you need a subscription to iCloud+ (from € 0.99 per month for 50 GB of storage) to be able to create an event.

The application allows you to select an image associated with the event, and you can use Apple Intelligence with Image Playground to create a visual from scratch. A description can of course be informed, and Apple has provided integration with plans for the journey towards the place of the event, without forgetting the weather. It is also possible to contribute to a shared album to relive the event in images, and an Apple Music playlist can also be created for the occasion. To respond to an invitation, there are three options: yes, no or perhaps, with the control of the information displayed to other guests.

Apple Invitations

It is not necessary to be equipped with an Apple product to be invited to an event through Apple Invitations: we then simply receive an e-mail with the possibility of responding via iCloud.com/invites. Apple is thus positioned as a direct competitor of Doodle, but the packaging to an iCloud+ subscription for the issue of invitations could slow down the development of this new feature which seems as simple as it is useful and well done. You can download Apple Invitations for free today to the App Store.
