With the Redmi Pad, Xiaomi once again offers a simple and effective tablet for a very affordable price. Equipped with a convincing screen and a rather well -optimized SoC, it also displays an impressive autonomy. Reduction of costs requires, it is confined to LCD, does not shine in video games and turns out to be poor in photo. But Xiaomi was able to make the right choices to make a very good navigation tool on the web and networks, but especially the viewing of content. At less than 300 €, difficult to do much better.

NB: The lower price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the lowest price average charged by all merchants for the product last month, with safety rules to rule out the prices of shops of which VAT policy is not clear (called “gray” shops, typically in the event of an import from China).

An alternative

After seduced us with its Galaxy Tab S9 and S9 FE resolutely premium, Samsung closes the year 2023 with a versatile tablet which offers both performance and autonomy at content prices. If it does not excel in all areas, in particular with regard to the photo and calibration of the screen, the proposal will certainly satisfy the family and occasional users in search of an inexpensive device capable of filling easily all everyday tasks.
