John Carcerano runs a carpet cleaning company. Besides his work, he has a hobby: he china. And to add: “Only two copies have been sold at auction in the past 50 years. Most people are not interested in Asian art or porcelain. They don’t even look at these objects. “

Auction in June

John Carcerano had antiquity authenticate by experts from three auction houses. He will give it up at Sotheby’s in New York next June. It feels that there is a good chance that the auction price exceeds the estimate. The man, who says he has recently undergone several surgical operations and chemotherapy, does not specify if he will make a donation to the charitable work which allowed him to win several thousand dollars.
