Free permanence to master digital

Everything about IT tools and their operation. This is what the digital permanence of the city of Geneva offers. Four times a week, everyone can contact specialists, free of charge and without an appointment.

These can provide information on the operation and use of a smartphone, a computer, a tablet, a printer or a scanner. They will also enter the sending of emails, adding attachments, using messaging, software, application, or even the realization of an e-demarche for administration or online registration. Conferences and workshops are also on the program of these offices, such as the creation of a Swisspass account, artificial intelligence or the security of digital data.

This aid is a six -month -old pilot project launched in November 2024 by the municipality with the OSEO Geneva association. Throughout its duration, a study of the needs of the beneficiaries is conducted, in particular to assess the relevance of the system over time. Depending on the results, the service could be extended.

The permanences are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Geneva city area at rue de la Terrassière, and Wednesdays and Fridays from 3.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Oseo Geneva at rue Pécolat (behind La Poste du Mont -White).
