The cast of Baywatch reunites twenty-three years later

Erika Eleniak, Nicole Eggert and Carmen Electra were among the fifteen actresses and actors from “Baywatch” who gathered on Monday, August 26 in Santa Monica, California. All were invited to the premiere of a documentary on the cult series from the 90s that is soon to arrive on Disney+, “After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun.”

Unfortunately, the two most iconic lifeguards, David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, were missing. There was no trace of David Charvet, Yasmine Bleeth or Donna D’Errico either.

Regardless, it’s something to see the first naiad of the series again, Erika Eleniak aka Shauni McClain, 54, or Jeremy Jackson, 43, who played Hobbie, David Hasselhoff’s young son on screen. Nicole Eggert was there, six months after revealing that she had cancer. With her head shaved since March, the one who played Summer confided to “People” that “the hardest part” is yet to come.

“I’m in a bit of a gray area: I’m done with my treatment, I’m waiting for more imaging and hopefully surgery,” the 52-year-old actress explained. “There’s a lot of waiting and it’s something I wasn’t really aware of and nobody really talks about.”

A four-part documentary series, “After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun,” promises to examine the sexual relationships, scandals and impact of “Baywatch,” from racism to the sex tape of Pamela Anderson (fictionalized in “Pam & Tommy”). According to “The Daily Beast,” which saw it, the program feels more like a promotional tool than an in-depth analysis of the popular series.
