Head of Da Capo in Stuttgart is missing: Police perform autopsy
After the fire on Monday above the Stuttgart restaurant Da Capo, many questions remain unanswered despite the autopsy of a body that was found in the rubble of the building. The only thing that is clear so far is that there is no evidence of third-party negligence, said a police spokesman one day after the autopsy.
The owner of the Italian restaurant, Luca Böck, is missing. It is currently unclear whether the dead man is the restaurant’s manager. The police say they cannot yet say anything about the identity or cause of death of the deceased. The body was discovered in the house on Monday during forensic investigations.
The restaurant presented itself in July on “My Local, Your Local”
According to police, the fire broke out the night before under the roof of the building and then spread. The Italian restaurant in the same building was badly damaged by smoke and water used to extinguish the fire. Damage amounting to several hundred thousand euros was caused. Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
It has since emerged that Da Capo was featured in the Kabel Eins show “Mein Lokal, Dein Lokal” in July of this year. Owner Luca Böck introduced his Italian restaurant to TV viewers.
