Georgina Fleur talks about her difficult relationship with her mother

Georgina Fleur’s life has been in front of the cameras since 2011 – and for almost as long, the public has been given insights into her difficult relationship with her mother. Now the former “Celebrity Big Brother” participant has gone one step further and revealed new details.

Do you want to know how much Georgina Fleur has changed in the last few years?

From “Celebrity Big Brother” to “Jungle Camp”: Georgina Fleur (34) has been one of the most famous faces in the reality world for over a decade. Another person would also like to benefit from her fame – and money! – her mother Drink Bülowius (62). The fact that the relationship between the two women is more than difficult was shown in the current episode of “I’m a Celebrity – Showdown of the Jungle Legends” clearly. Since the birth of Georgina’s daughter three years ago, there have been new problems between the two.

Long-standing disputes

The public dispute, however, began earlier: in 2013, for example, Gerti Bülowius sued her daughter for defamation because she had claimed to have given her cash. She also gave Georgina the Debt about her impending unemployment and homelessness: “People google you these days. And I can’t get a job or an apartment with this great, famous daughter that I have,” she complained at the time.

The beginning of a long series of arguments. After the birth of her daughter, Georgina had actually hoped to be able to settle them, as she now explains. She said of her mother: “I can’t get on with her at all. When she’s with me, it’s an absolute nightmare.” That’s why she moved out of home at the age of 14. However: “When I became a mother, I wanted my daughter to have a grandmother. And for my mother to be closer to us as a family.” She even wanted to bring Gerti to Dubai with her, and they even had a “nice time” when she visited her mother.

“Why did you leave your daughter alone with her mother?”

So beautiful that one evening she even left her baby alone with her grandmother and went out: “The little one was six months old at the time – and then she sent me two voicemails on WhatsApp from my screaming baby and said: ‘Come home, she’s screaming!'” That’s how she realized that her mother was “not a babysitter” and that she would “never again” be able to trust her with her daughter. One of her sisters even called her “crazy” and asked her: “Why did you leave your daughter alone with her mom?” She, Georgina, is the only one of the three sisters who still keeps in touch with her mother: “I have to look after her.”

In Gerti Bülowius’ eyes, she apparently doesn’t do that enough. Fellow camper Elena Miras (32) said she remembered various articles in which Georgina’s mother had asked television stations to pay her 10,000 euros of her fee. In fact, she had repeatedly made demands for money on her Instagram page and even talked about wanting to confiscate her daughter’s fee. Demanding money from her daughter seems to be a matter of course for her, according to an interview from April this year. In it, she said: “I’m financially dependent on her, what’s so bad about that? That’s why I was there for her.”

“Anyone who hides their child has problems”

She also had an explanation for the fact that, against Georgina’s wishes, she posted private photos and videos of her little granddaughter uncensored online: “All followers are waiting to get beautiful pictures of mother and daughter. Even the kings, the beggars, everyone proudly shows off their well-behaved children. Anyone who hides their child has problems.”

A pretty bold thesis! Georgina’s conclusion: “That’s why I try to be such a good mother and have a very loving, intimate Relationship to her (editor’s note: her daughter). Because I have such a broken relationship with my mother.”
