In the fourth game, Kylian Mbappé finally managed to score his first league goal for Real Madrid. The Frenchman coolly converted a spectacular backheel pass from Federico Valverde in the 67th minute to make it 1-0 against Betis Sevilla. Mbappé then made it 2-0 from the penalty spot (75th minute). Ricardo Rodriguez did not play for Betis.
Women’s Serie A: Lehmann scores
Nati player Alisha Lehmann scored on her first appearance for Juventus. The 25-year-old, who came on after just over an hour, scored the final goal to make it 6-3 (86th minute) in the season opener against Sassuolo. Defender Viola Calligaris watched the wild game from the bench.
Ligue 1: Joy and sorrow for Monaco’s Zakaria
Denis Zakaria experienced ups and downs in the 1:1 draw against Lens. In a turbulent final phase, the Swiss player was in the right place after a corner and scored what appeared to be the winning goal (84th minute). But in injury time, the VAR intervened again: Zakaria had touched the ball illegally in the penalty area. Swiss goalkeeper Philipp Köhn had no chance on the subsequent penalty.
