After yesterday’s victories of Torino and Inter, the third day of the championship continued today with 4 matches. In the late afternoon a draw at the Dall’Ara and a victory for the Salento team over the Sardinians at the Via del Mare. In the evening a draw at the Olimpico while Conte’s team wins in a comeback in full recovery at the Maradona

The third day of the Serie A championship, opened yesterday by the victories of Torino and Inter, continued today with four more matches. In the late afternoon Lecce beat Cagliari 1-0 while Bologna-Empoli ended 1-1. In the evening Lazio-Milan ended 2-2 while Napoli beat Parma 2-1 with a comeback in injury time. In the early games on Friday, the Granata beat Venezia with a goal by Coco, the Nerazzurri won at San Siro against Atalanta 4-0. Tomorrow the program includes the last 4 matches: Genoa-Verona and Fiorentina-Monza at 18:30 and Udinese-Como and Juventus-Roma at 20:45 (SERIES A HIGHLIGHTS).

Lazio-Milan, the match report

At the start of the match Dia comes close to scoring but Pavlovic saves on the line. In the 8th minute the same Serbian defender scores the lead for Milan with a header following a corner kick by Pulisic. The Rossoneri control the match for the rest of the half and are still dangerous with Loftus Cheek. In the second half Lazio do much better and equalise in the 62nd minute with Castellanos served by Nuno Tavares. A few minutes pass and the Biancocelesti turn the tables: Nuno Tavares again goes away on the left and puts a ball in the middle that Dia pounces on. In the 72nd minute Milan equalise with Leao, who just entered and finishes off a nice move by Theo and Abraham. The result doesn’t change despite a few other good chances at the end.

Napoli-Parma, the match report

In the 16th minute Parma hit the woodwork twice in 30 seconds with Kowalski and Bonny. Shortly after Sohm struck and the ball reached Bonny, contact with Meret and a penalty was awarded to the visitors. Bonny scored from the spot. Napoli reacted and created danger with Mazzocchi and Kvaratskhelia, but the Emilians almost doubled their lead with Bernabé. In the second half Lukaku made his debut in the blue jersey and immediately came close to scoring. In the 66th minute Buongiorno hit the crossbar. In the 75th minute Parma were down to 10 men after Suzuki was shown a second yellow card. Having already run out of substitutions, Delprato went into goal. In the 88th minute a contact between Almqvist and Simeone was first punished with a penalty for Napoli, but then the decision was overturned. 11 minutes of injury time were granted: in the 92nd minute Lukaku equalised with a diagonal left-footed shot. In the 96th minute, Anguissa turns the tables on an assist from Neres. Conte’s team wins in injury time.

Bologna-Empoli, match report (HIGHLIGHTS)

Bologna takes the lead after 100 seconds: corner touched at the near post by Beukema, at the other post Fabbian runs in and scores from a few steps away. Just a minute later Empoli equalizes: cross by Pezzella and at the far post Gyasi chests the ball into the net. At the end of the half, excellent chances for Solbakken and Orsolini. In the second half, very little excitement and practically no shot on target. At the Dall’Ara it ends 1-1.

Lecce-Cagliari, the match report (HIGHLIGHTS)

Lecce collects chances at the start of the match, then in the 14th minute Cagliari hits the crossbar with Luvumbo.
