Michelle and Eric Philippi: The singer has a surprise for the “woman of his life”.

Michelle said she released her last music album, “Floodlight,” in the summer. Your long and successful career is on the home stretch. Now a new work is being released, in which the Schlager star also has a part.

Because Michelle’s fiancé Eric Philippi is releasing his second album entitled “We’re Still Staying” on October 11th. At the same time, the 27-year-old also released the first single, called “What are you doing with me?”, like the portal schlagerprofis.de reported.

It’s not hard to guess who might feel addressed by this. So he sings to Michelle with lines like these: “What are you doing to me? You kidnapped my heart? I didn’t believe it and since it was with you, I’ve missed you…”

And it gets even more emotional. With a request that comes from the heart: “Just, you have to promise me one thing: please never leave it alone. Take it with you wherever you go. Treat it like it’s yours. Give it a home with you and then it will be yours forever.”

Michelle and Eric Philippi: In the Schlager show he talks about songs about love

Michelle can hardly say no to that. Her partner had previously hinted at the musical gift in the MDR show “Die Schlager des Monat”. In a conversation with presenter Christin Stark – partner of Matthias Reim, with whom Michelle was also in the past, he said: “The most important topic is of course the woman in my life and she also finds a very big place on this album.”

His already released single “Ich liebs” is also discussed. And of course this piece is also about the partnership with Michelle. “The simplicity of the relationship or the person with whom I now share my life went through my mind,” Philippi gave insight into the writing process.

He added: “The title describes exactly how easy a relationship like this can be and what it gives you. And that it’s the little things that make you happy and that you never want to lose that.”

Michelle probably also played a significant role in songs like “You are what I was missing”, “Always there for you” and “Love yourself, who can”. However, the Saarland native is keeping a low profile on the topic of weddings: “You are welcome to speculate, even speculate for a very long time, because it will definitely remain private.”

He also commented on collaborations with Howard Carpendale, Florian Silbereisen, Beatrice Egli, Ben Zucker and his partner Michelle. He describes them as “great artists” and “idols who have influenced me over the last few years”.
