Pietro Lombardi and Laura Maria speak out after an argument

Their second son was born just a few weeks ago, and now there are bad headlines about Pietro Lombardi (32) and his fiancée Laura Maria Rypa (28). After a heated argument, the singer is temporarily not allowed to enter his villa or approach his fiancée – domestic violence is suspected.

Following media reports about the incident, including police operations at their home on the night of October 7th, the couple released a statement to the same effect on their respective Instagram pages.

Late on Tuesday evening, her Instagram stories said: “Due to the current headlines, we have to speak out. The press tries to aggravate the conflict even more and often doesn’t take certain statements very seriously. We don’t want that, so we won’t give it a platform here and act in the interests of our children so that the public is kept out of it. They would understand that many people would have questions. However, they ask that you refrain from making further inquiries.

However, the singer’s lawyer expressly rejects the accusation of domestic violence: “Our client did not use violence against his fiancée on the night of October 7, 2024,” Simon Bergmann was quoted as saying. The statement speaks of differences of opinion “… which were associated with insults on both sides. As part of this emotional argument, there was also mutual touching, but our client did not use violence against his fiancée.

The argument with Laura Maria Rypa could cost Pietro Lombardi his place on the DSDS jury. As “Bild” writes, RTL contacted Lombardi immediately after yesterday’s media reports and held a crisis meeting. The 32-year-old is on the jury for “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” for the third time – RTL has not yet commented on the incident.

The investigation against Lombardi is currently ongoing, but his lawyer remains confident that the allegations can be refuted. Whether and how the incident will affect Lombardi’s career and his role as a juror on “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” remains to be seen. The presumption of innocence applies.
