Just five and a half hours after moving into the container, Big Brother asks the residents of “Celebrity Big Brother” 2024 to choose the only “C-celebrity” from their own ranks: The first container boss is: in to determine. And who has the hat on now – or the knitted hat in their personal pastel color to match the uniform outfit? With a baseball cap on his head as he moved into the container, a celebrity seemed to be predestined for this responsible task.
“I’ll do it”: Matze Höhn is the first container boss
Dressed in purple from head to toe – the first container boss of “Celebrity Big Brother” 2024 cannot be missed: Matthias “Matze” Höhn took off his private baseball cap when dressing and replaced it directly with the purple beanie. When Big Brother asked the residents to choose their first container boss around 8:30 p.m., the decision was made in just a few minutes. Alida is suggested first, but then the residents quickly agree on Matze. When asked by Big Brother whether he would like to accept the election, the 28-year-old reality actor and content creator confidently confirmed: “Yes, I’ll do it.”
Eating, watching the night, washing up: the first tasks are to be distributed
Big Brother Matze doesn’t allow much time to adjust to his new position and immediately dictates the first task: to collect the food and distribute it fairly among all residents. The problem is that the first ration should last for three days, up to and including Monday evening (October 7th). And what is there to eat in the next few days? A huge jar full of oatmeal. The word “gruel” immediately makes the rounds. But first it’s time to divide, not an easy task without scales. But the celebrities know how to help themselves and shovel the first bowls full – for everyone who wants to eat. Four residents are foregoing their first supper: Max Kruse wants to save his ration for the next day, Daniel Lopes is “not hungry” yet, Alida Kurras also doesn’t want to eat, and Jochen Horst hopes to be able to exchange his portion for cigarettes later . All that remains is to wish Big Brother “Good Hunger”. And then the newly appointed container boss makes it clear: “Only I will touch the pot. Not because I want to be the boss, but so that there are no discussions.” Matze’s word of power is accepted without complaint.
Leyla swings the wooden spoon
After Leyla Lahouar and Mike Heiter sit on the sofa, holding hands and with their legs crossed, they make a perfect couple who are finally together again after a few days of separation, Leyla willingly stands at the stove when it’s time to cook the gruel. While she is still lovingly turning the nine portions of the celebrities interested in dinner into a porridge with a little water in the pot, Big Brother comes around the corner with the next task for Matze: the container boss is supposed to organize the night watch.
Even the night shifts are in demand
Two people must stay awake from midnight to 2 a.m. and from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. There are enough volunteers for the job and the shifts are filled quickly: Jochen and Alida start, followed by Mimi Fiedler and Max Kruse. Washing up isn’t a problem either: Cecilia Asoro and Sinan Movez are obviously happy about the change and are using the housework for a first, intensive conversation. An eventful and busy opening day in the container is coming to an end.
